Or, will they replace not just human factory workers but teachers and doctors \u2013 leaving humankind unemployed?\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Martin uses his experience of Cybernetics, Artificial Intelligence, and Philosophy to answer some of these questions about our place in the likely real \u201cartificial\u201d future.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0YfSf1y1_-w\" width=\"760\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The vision of a utopian future on the horizon<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">*AI is booming:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">-AI is growing fast (300% increase expected in 2017 over 2016)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">-PwC expected AI will add $15.7 Trillion to the Global Economy by 2030)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">-Timeline to AGI\/Superintelligence is perhaps 15-30 years horizon.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">*Industrial Automation &amp; Robotics is promising much:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">-An exciting abundant tech through Industry 4.0 and 5.0 revolutions.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">-Smart Immersive Gaming and Service Robots in the next 10-20 years.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">*These trends underpinning the &#8220;Technological Singularity&#8221; artificial horizon.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">&#8220;We need to manage our fear response when faced with socio-economic revolutions. Many are concerned that the impending revolution caused by Artificial Intelligence and Robotics is something that is a source of fear, that humanity will lose out and we need to react to \u201cstay ahead.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The idea of &#8220;staying ahead&#8221; implies necessary competition. This assumption is simply in error. It is like a Victorian asking if a horse will be able to compete with a steam engine or automobile. All three &#8220;systems&#8221; humans employed as tools.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Artificial Intelligence is a smart tool to be employed by mankind in cooperation, to help make better decisions, and build efficient economic performance.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Smart Robots will do Robotic jobs.
