Molly Crockett&#8217;s research addresses these questions. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">She believes that understanding the brain can enable us to design environments that promote cooperation instead of selfishness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/X2oZwveMpSM\" width=\"760\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Molly&#8217;s research has taken her far from her native Southern California, where she studied psychology as an undergraduate at the University of California, Los Angeles. Molly&#8217;s curiosity about brain chemistry led her to the University of Cambridge, where she completed her Ph.D. in neuroscience as a Gates Scholar. Prior to joining Yale, Dr. Crockett was a faculty member at the University of Oxford\u2019s Department of Experimental Psychology and a Fellow of Jesus College. She holds a BSc in Neuroscience from UCLA and a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Cambridge and completed a Wellcome Trust Postdoctoral Fellowship with economists and neuroscientists at the University of Z\u00fcrich and University College London.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Does your sense of fairness depend on what you ate for breakfast?
