But in the end there has been no such thing as smart AI in any game. Even in games where an AI presents a challenge it is either through direct *cheating* (The AI is given advantages) or the ability of an ‘AI’ to micromanage many things (*everything*) at once whereas the human player is severely limited by the ‘interface’.
